As per our last construction notification, stormwater works are currently being undertaken on Birdwood Avenue at the northern end of the Rosenthal Avenue Car Park.
To help finalise these improvement works car parking in the Rosenthal Avenue will be temporarily affected on Wednesday 29 November to allow for the safe removal of a few trees along Birdwood Lane.
Traffic management will be in place to oversee the operation of 30 parking spaces which will remain available as per the usual 2 hours free parking arrangement. Entry and exit will be managed by traffic controllers via one driveway. Controllers will be on-site all day to make sure that safety is maintained within the car park as well as providing access to neighbouring properties, ensuring safe pedestrian thoroughfares and that local traffic disruption is kept to a minimum. Access along Birdwood Lane and neighbouring routes will be maintained and operational as per usual. By 5:30pm the car park will return to full capacity.
This work is weather-dependent however is currently scheduled for Wednesday 29 November 2017 between 6:30am and 5:30pm.
Following the tree removal, stormwater trenching and installation works will be taking place for the next two weeks. During this time the full capacity of 65 car parking spaces will be maintained in the car park however from time to time ADCO will have traffic control in place to manage access via one driveway entry/exit.
